Swimcrest swimmers are continuing their summer of great racing.
Tom Fusari raced his FIRST EVER triathlon at the HITS Triathlon Series Sprint in Hague, NY. Tom took FIRST in the Men’s 40-44 age group! That’s a tough group to beat, and Tom started his race off right with a 16:09.447 swim leg. And, oh yeah, he was 29th overall in a field of 162 racers. Wow.
Kevin Mepham is continuing his summer of great performances.
Kevin competed in the Ashland Lions Olympic Triathlon with a swim time of 24:42, and took 3rd in the Men’s 50-54 age group.
The next weekend, another race and another 3rd in the Men’s 50-54 age group at the Team Hoyt Triathlon, with a swim time of 15:48.
And yup, another race the following weekend, and a 1st in the Men’s 50-54 age group at the Whately Police Triathlon with a swim time of 13:30.
And perhaps most important, Swimcrest swimmer Stephanie Woods is continuing her strong training this summer, and brought my son freshly baked scones when she came for her lesson yesterday morning. That means she wins, big time.
Happy Training everyone!
