Just your typical Swimcrest Tuesday.
7:30 to 8:30 – Client #1 who makes me giggle like crazy and who was sporting THIS fabulous swim cap this morning and who swam more than she ever has before. (Clearly, the cap makes ALL the difference.)
10:00 to 11:00 – Client #2 – Breaststroke, freestyle, and his longest water treading ever. Coming up this summer? Swim field trips!
11:00 to 12:00 – What to do with that random hour between lessons, and you’re already in your swimsuit? Squeeze in your first swim of the day, of course!
12:00 to 1:00 – Client #3 – I’m almost afraid of how much faster this guy will be when we get that wonky left arm straightened out. Wow!
1:00 to 2:00 – Client #4 – Lesson of the day? Don’t forget to breathe! (But don’t do the Stevie Wonder head when you do it.) In fact, taking a deep breath and just relaxing is something we can all remember to do more of.
2:00 to 4:00 – Client emails, eat food, drink a little more coffee, sit down for 5 seconds, do errands, pick up child, throw in load of laundry because swimmers use A LOT of towels, pack bag for swim practice at night, and maybe a little blog post?
4:30 to 5:30 – Back in the pool for open water training for my son who will be completing the 1-Mile Distance at the Mashpee Super Swim on June 21st. (5 Swimcrest swimmers signed up so far. Are you going to be one too? Please?)
And at 6:15? Off to swim practice with my fantastic UMAMA teammates and coaches! (And yes, coaches still need coaching.)
Every day should have this much water time!
