Swimcrest swimmers hit the Green River for the Greenfield Triathlon

Big congratulations to all those who raced at the Greenfield Triathlon today. What terrific performances!

In the Sprint distance, Megan Bilodeau kicked some booty and came in 17th overall, and 1st in the women’s 45-49 age group.

Owen Zaret completed his 2nd ever triathlon! And came in 2nd in the Clydesdale division.

And Eddie Romero completed his FIRST triathlon, never having completed a swim of that distance before.

Olympic distance athletes were also incredible this morning.

Kevin Mepham was 4th overall—yes, overall—and 1st in the men’s 50-54 age group.

Kyle Bissell was 8th overall, 3rd in the men’s 35-39 category. Oh, and did I mention that he did a little race last weekend? You might have heard of it. It’s called IRONMAN LAKE PLACID!

Lisa Chase was 3rd woman overall! And 2nd in the women’s 45-49 category. What a great repeat performance after taking 3rd last year as well.

Congratulations to all who worked so hard and are finishing their seasons strong.
