It’s early, but Swimcrest athletes are already excelling this season.

Congratulations to Kevin Mepham on a stellar performance at the New England Season Opener Triathlon on May 10th. Kevin made a great showing with a First Place in the 50-54 age group.

Oh, and yeah, he followed it up the very next weekend with a First Place Men’s finish, Second Place overall finish at the Wild Goose Chase 5k in Northampton. Well Done!

And spending some quality time out of the water, Father/Daughter duo Brian and Lilly Haley had a fantastic time at the Twin Lights Half Marathon. (Hmmmm. I think this one may have to go on my to-do list for next year!) Did I mention that Lilly is 15? I don’t know what you were doing at 15, but I was not, ahem, doing Half Marathons.

And finally, coming this weekend, Lisa Chase is sure to be amazing at the Vermont City Marathon, her first marathon, but I’m thinking it will not be the last.
