This week at Swimcrest:
An 11-year-old boy attempted his first 50-yard freestyle swim, made it 3/4 of the way, rested, tried it again, did it, and smiled.
A 9-year-old girl learned the breaststroke kick.
A Dad learned to breathe to his side.
A 3-year-old played with Alfred the inflatable penguin and William, the dolphin.
A 9-year-old girl did her first 100 IM.
An 11-year-old boy, who couldn’t swim at all just 6 weeks ago, came within three yards of his first continuous 25-yards, and is determined to get there next time.
A 6-year-old girl shared why she’s scared to put her face in the water, and we talked about trust. Then she swam her freestyle.
Just another weekend in the life of someone who’s lucky to love her job.
